This was so much fun!  You might remember this soon-to-be bride from her amazing destination senior portraits.  Well, this summer I was contacted by Maddie’s mom telling me that Maddie’s boyfriend was planning to propose to her and wanted to see about having me photograph the proposal and engagement portraits.  We concocted a scheming plan (lol) where I said I wanted to take pictures of a couple in Marfa, and would they mind modeling for me?  Little did Maddie know that these would be engagement portraits!  Of course, Maddie said yes and the plan was set in action.  West Texas is precious to my family and I am blessed to be able to go out there every year in August.  We decided to go into town and take some pictures around Marfa, and then get some pictures out near the Marfa Lights Observation Park.  As you can see, Maddie had no clue that Brent was going to propose!!  She was so excited!!  And how awesome is it that her parents are there to celebrate with her?  I am so excited for Maddie and Brent and for what their future holds.  Thank you so much for allowing me the honor of documenting this moment!
